Psalm 119:18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. I encourage you to memorize and quote this passage every time you open God’s word that He may speak to your heart. But, not only this verse, but several passages of scripture that are dear to your heart. The question is asked, what if your bible was taken away, and the only scripture you had was those that are in your heart. How much of the bible would you have. How many of us could lead someone to Christ and take them down the Roman’s road if you did not have your bible. People sometimes say, the Lord doesn’t speak to me. Well, how much time do you spend in your bible. God will bring scriptures to mind in different situations so that you know what to do or how to answer someone’s question. Hiding God’s word in our hearts will keep us from sinning against God. Psalm 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. When we hide God’s word in our heart, our thinking will be different, our decisions will different, because we are different, so “Go out and make a difference, because Christ has made us different”.
